Downloading & Installing
the Add-In
Read each step carefully.
If you are instructed to skip steps, please do so. IF YOU ARE
NOT INSTRUCTED TO SKIP STEPS, MAKE SURE YOU FOLLOW EACH ONE. There
are some that may seem unnecessary, like closing & reopening Excel, but
IT WON'T INSTALL CORRECTLY IF YOU DON'T FOLLOW THESE
INSTRUCTIONS EXACTLY.

Download the
file CRI AddIn.zip
and save to Desktop. Do NOT open it!
- Unzip
or Extract the file to your desktop. When prompted, enter the
password. (If you do not have a
utility to unzip zip files go to
Winzip.com to
download the evaluation version of the utility. If you have no idea what a
zip file is or need a refresher, go to
Information for Newcomers.)
- Right
click the CRI AddIn.xla icon on your desktop and select Cut.
- If
you have NEVER INSTALLED any version of this add-in, SKIP TO THE
Step 12!
If you HAVE INSTALLED A PREVIOUS
VERSION of this add-in, then open Excel.
- Go to
Tools|Addins.
- Uncheck
Viewing Utilities and click OK. (This step is necessary to apply your
changes.)
- Go to
Tools|Addins and click Browse.
- Select
the CRI Addin.xla file and press the Delete key. When it asks if you
want to send the file to the Recycle Bin click Yes.
- Go to
View|Toolbars|Customize.
- On the
Toolbars tab, scroll down until you see Utility. Click on the word it so it's
highlighted and click Delete.
- Close
the window and then close Excel. (This step is necessary to apply your
changes.)

Open Excel. Make sure you have a workbook open
(can be a new blank workbook).
- Go to
Tools|Add-Ins and select Browse.
- Right
click in the white space and select Paste.
- Click OK
to exit pop up windows.
- The
toolbar should now be visible. If not, check your
Macro Security settings. If it still
does not appear you can email us for
troubleshooting help.
Macro Security:
To set Macro security, go to
Tools|Macro|Security.

If security is on high, you will
not see the installed toolbar.
- If security is on medium, it will ask
if you want to enable macros. Choose Yes to see the installed
toolbar.
- If security is on low, it won't ask.
We recommend that you do not use this setting.
